The UltraLAN all-in-one Optical Fiber Cable Tester is an essential tool for cable installers, fiber technicians or anyone working in networking environments. The tool features a combination of a fiber power meter, visual fault locator, cable tester, and cable tracker all built into one device. This allows you to test fiber optic cables for breaks, insertion loss and optical power loss, locate network cable and test its physical conditions.

The cabinet is made from durable electro-galvanized cold rolled steel and finished with a powder coating to protect it from the elements and corrosion. Several features are incorporated to safeguard the cabinet from the elements, while still keeping the equipment secure and well ventilated. These outdoor cabinets include a high-grade polyurethane door joint strip for better protection against water & dust, as well as a roof awning to prevent rain from entering through the top of the cabinet. These outdoor cabinets are secured with a 3-point swing handle locking system to keep the door closed and prevent unauthorized access.


Air ventilation is critical for the well being of your equipment, and the UltraLAN cabinet features vents on both side panels. In addition, metal mesh filters are set into a double wall on the inside, adding to dust ingress protection while still allowing air to pass through for better cooling inside the cabinet.

UltraLAN 9-socket (3pin SA) PDU with IEC plug

UltraLAN’s 9-socket power distribution unit provides 3pin SA power points for the hardware in your cabinet.
The PDU mounts vertically inside network cabinets against the railings. The PDU also has an IEC power cord to connect to power, making it a great option to plug directly into a UPS in a server cabinet.

UltraLAN Fiber Bow Type Drop Cable (Black) - 2 Core


This UltraLAN fiber cable is a 'Bow Type' Single Mode, G657A2, bend-insensitive, 2 core fiber cable for FTTX applications. The outer jacket is 2x3mm and made from UV resistant, Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) material suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. The cable is reinforced with two 0.45mm phosphate wires to provide support, resulting in better pull strength and resistance when bending around corners.
Supplied on a wooden drum in 2000m length.
